This postcard was available for sale at the Hong Kong Section. The temple in the postcard photo is Kwun Yum Temple at Hung Hom, Hong Kong. This Temple was built in 1873 and underwent a major renovation in 1909. The caption on the postcard reads that the roof ornamentation on the main ridge of the temple looks like to that of the Chinese Restaurant. It is likely that architect or the craftsman of the Hong Kong Pavilion had made reference with this temple when designing or building the Chinese Restaurant.
