This illustrated postcard features the Chinese Street facing the eastern end. The first shop on the right is Yue Lee Yuen, a company specialising in the import and export trade of manufacture goods. A flag of the British colony of Hong Kong was hung on the roof at the shophouses. The postcard was posted in 1924.
