The illustration postcard shows the Chinese Street looking west. The illustration is rather accurate, and provides reference to see the colours in the Section. The Chinese Restaurant on the right showcases the typical characteristics of Chinese traditional architectures, including traditional green roofs and Chinese lattice window, vermillion steps and dougong (bracket). The building on the left of the illustration mimics the verandah shophouses located at Queen’s Road Central in Hong Kong. This postcard was posted in 1924.
