The female workers from Tung Ying Hok Po (owned by Sir Robert Hutong and Lady Hotung) were organised from Hong Kong to Wembley to demonstrate the silk-making process at the Hong Kong Section. This postcard is part of a series featuring the silk production process. Tung Ying Hok Po rears moths for the cocoons. This photogravure postcard features four parent moths and three cocoons. It takes around half a month for a cocoon to become a moth.
