This illustration comes from a German magazine. The illustration shows the female workers at the Hong Kong Section at Wembley. Both workers were removing thread from the silk cocoon and produce silk with the winding machine. The illustration was drawn by British artist and illustrator William R.S. Stott (1897-1934).
