The Qing Count participated in the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1878. This illustrated postcard shows the exterior of the Chinese Pavilion. The entrance was designed with a paifang (traditional Chinese architectural arch). Two flags of the Qing Empire were hung. The red and green colours of the pavilion sharply contrast each other.
