This postcard shows the east entrance of the Hong Kong Pavilion (i.e., the gate tower), viewing from the ‘Praya’ outside the British Guiana Section. Two lanterns were hung at the gate tower. Both the Chinese and the English characters of ‘Hong Kong’ were written above the gate. The circular entrance below the ‘city gate’ leads to the exhibition hall. Looking into the Pavilion, the flags and signboards of the stores are clearly captured.
