This postcard is printed with a photo taken by Campbell Gray. It captures the Hong Kong Pavilion from a side angle from the Praya. The exterior design of the Chinese restaurant can be seen clearly. The Chinese characters of the Chinese Restaurant was written with Chinese calligraphic style on the wooden plaque. Above the side windows of the restaurant is a relief of the dragon. The ridge was decorated with imperial roof charms imitates grand traditional Chinese architectures. The blurry image also shows the interior design of the restaurant. Traditional Chinese furniture and decorations like lanterns, folding screens, paintings, curtains (for dividing space) can be seen.
