In 1907 (the 33rd year of the Guangxu reign) the Qing Court organised a domestic exhibition in Tianjin (a coastal city in northwest China) to display the industrial and craftsmen products. The Chinese title of the Exhibition literally means “promoting the development of industry and commerce”.
