This pocket guide includes the major attractions at the British Empire Exhibition in 1924. The description of the Hong Kong Section reads that: ‘A feature of the Hong Kong Section that will prove immensely popular is a native street. This is an exact reproduction of a street in a Chinese town, and includes a Chinese restaurant, shops, and products of the far East. Here the visitors see Chinamen working in their familiar surroundings.’ (p.15)
